Where are you from?
Hello, I was born in Saipan and I studied in Atlanta, Georgia.
What made you get into rapping and Hip-Hop?
Well, I was first interested in vocals, but one of the directors at the vocal
training center recommended me to start rapping because he thought my voice would be
better suited for rapping. So I gave it a try and loved how you can create your own
flow and message on a variety of beats.
How did you get your rap name?
I'm still debating with my rap name, but it's currently B.Daisy.
"B" is the initial of my last name and I put it together so it sounds like "Be Daisy".
To mean it as, "be myself" or "be the real me".
What inspires you to write lyrics and come up with ideas for songs?
I get inspired by almost everything. My surroundings, nature, friends, stories, movies, and traveling.
To depict the one thing that inspires me the most, I would say old pictures. I get very sentimental looking back at them.
Describe your style of rapping?
I'm still trying to work on my rapping style, but as you can tell by listening to my mixtape, most of the songs are storytelling songs. I prefer rapping on a slow R&B type of beat rather than something very heavy and hard. However, I try to challenge myself to put out a variety styles.
Tell us more about your latest mixtape you released?
I released my first mixtape early this year. It has nine tracks altogether. Most of the tracks are basically about my 2 years living in Korea. What I saw, what I felt, and how it was like
living in Korea as a Korean-American are all reflected dispersely(sic) throughout the nine tracks.
Especially, in the second track, "Korean-American" you will hear my frank confession about my experiences in Korea.
Do you have any favorite artists, rappers or singers?
I love Bruno Mars. His music always inspires me. For rappers I respect Korean rappers like Cheetah and Tymee.

Where do see yourself in 5 years time?
In 5 years time, well, I'm preparing for grad school right now, but I will be keeping up with my
second mixtape at the same time, so honestly I don't know where I see myself in five years, but hopefully I will have achieved my goals in studying as well as music career.
