We spotted ChenE on Soundcloud and we loved what she was doing. She got that raw rap skill and dope rhymes. Our elder statesman Ferd Isaacs (crazy guy) got to ask her some questions. Here follows the interview.
Who are you and where in South Korea are you from?
I'm a 16 year old female rapper and I'm from Daejeon in South Korea.
How long have you been rapping?
I've been rapping for almost a year.
Describe your style of rapping.
It's a hard question. Actually I'm still trying to find my own style, but I have a low tone, and I can split a variety of rhymes and rhythms.
What inspires you to write raps?
Most of my experience is occupied.
Are you part of a crew and if so what is the name of your crew?
I don't have any crew.
What year and month were you born?
I was born on February 4th.
Do you have any siblings?
I have an older brother.
What is your favorite Korean meal?
I love most Korean meals.
If you could be a Marvel superhero who would you be and why?
I want to be Spiderman because his web could be useful for me.
What rappers do you look up to?
I respect all of the rappers especially Superbee, Gary, Reddy, Cardi B, Nas and Iggy Azalea.
Have you ever been drunk and woke up not knowing where you are?
I've not been drunk hahaha
Are you working on new music?
That’s right. But there is no place to record.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Maybe on a big stage or my own office?
