As 2017 raps up we decided to look back at this very productive year. Although we didn't have a season of Unpretty Rapstar we still had plenty of action from all corners of the Korean Female Rapper ecosystem. So without much delay let's get into our top rappers for 2017.



ASOL



Asol has come a real long way. She started out bustin' out dope raps on Soundcloud to making major moves all over TV. Also getting loads of endorsement deals. We are really happy for her as she was and still is a close friend of the Korean Female Rapper Daily family. She also was the only female taking it really far in the Show Me The Money 6 competition.


BRYN


Bryn ended this year with a major show in Busan where she ripped the mic to pieces and left it bleeding. She has the swagger of a real rap veteran. She looks so comfortable behind the mic and her rapping is so effortless. She also entered Show Me The Money 6 but didn't get that far. She dabbled a bit by adding autotune to her songs. We didn't really like that, we prefer her doing her thing spitting dope lyrics over dope beats!


BOIN



Boin has been putting in some real work in 2016 and early 2017. Her track BBBAM really got popular on some Youtube dancing/choreography videos. This laid the platform for her follow up track Summer Rain which also came with a very hot music video. Boin really put in some hard work in 2017.


PUP



Pup raps in Korean and Chinese and has a huge fanbase in Korea and China. She also gets huge plays on her Soundcloud and also dropped a video this year.


CHOI SAM



Choi Sam has deepened her dark atmosphere in "F CODE" and "Art", some of her 2017 albums. She has impressed us with her latest album "3M" which includes remixed versions of her most loved tracks among her 7 mixtapes.

CHICKY



Chicky was really the most hardworking artist in 2017. She released so much product it made us happy all the the time we heard new music from her. She also collaborated with a string of producers and artists across the world and she also has plenty of new music dropping in 2018. Chicky is a very versatile artist who sings and raps.
