As with many of the artists that we interview on this wonderful number one female rap blog, most of them we know about because of discovery. What do you think of discovery? Something that has been there but we just stumbled on it by accident. This is what has happened with Haram. She has been around for a while and been doing her thing. Our curator, dot connector and creator, and hero Ferd Isaacs managed to get a hold of Haram and he was immediately intrigued by her story, let's see maybe you will be too.
Who are you and where are you from?
My name is Haram and I was born in Changwon, South Korea.
Where do you live currently?
I live in Seoul, South Korea.
How did you get your rap name?
My rap name is derived from the poems of Dong-Ju Yoon, a poet I respect the most.
How long have you been rapping?
I started music in earnest about a year ago. I started music because of Epik High.
Describe your style of rapping?
I tend to sing about the situation I am currently in. So gloomy and pessimistic contents make up the main story.
What inspires you to write raps?
Every moment inspires me. For example, when I meet a bad customer while working part-time, when I take a depression pill, meet a friend and watch TV.
Are you part of a crew, if so what is the name of your crew?
I am not in a crew.
What year and month were you born?
I was born on November 20, 1999.
Do you have any siblings?
I have a sister. She is my greatest strength. She always gives me feedback to my songs. She is smart,
What is your favorite Korean meal?
Hmmm ... I love all kinds of food. Food is my driving force.
What rappers do you look up to?
I respect Epik High most. I'm a big fan of them. Their music saved me from depression. The reason why I started music is because of them. I particularly like their lyrics.
Have you ever been drunk and woke up not knowing where you are?
Not once. Because I hate alcohol. I hate the feeling of headache after drinking.

I am preparing my debut album. I hope it goes well.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Musically maybe working with Epik High. That is my dream and I really want to work with them. Personally, I wish I could be a person who can love myself a little more. It's my wish.
