This week we had the great privilege to speak to the very super duper talented Twile Lee about her music ambitions and just the basic things that makes her world go round. We love her music and so would you.

Who are you and where are you from?
My name is T￦ile Lee. And I'm from Uijeongbu, Korea.
How did you get your rap name?
Since I used to like rapper Dok2, it was originally 'T. Lee'. But over time, I thought I'd change my rap name.
'Twile', a combination of Tweak and Smile, and 'Lee', who named my last name, became, 'T￦ile Lee'.
How long have you been rapping?
I think it's been about four years. I started in 2014.
Describe your style of rapping.
I think it's very melodic, cool, and you can't stop listening. I put a lot of effort into the lyrics and it makes me think about tomorrow. But I'm also good at tight, strong rap. You'll be surprised to hear that later.
What inspires you to write raps?
Daily. It's about the things I felt and the philosophies I learned.
Are you part of a crew, if so what is the name of your crew?
Yes. I'm in a crew called, Billiant Chillin Town.
What year and month were you born?
August 8th, 2003.
Do you have any siblings?
I'm an only child.
Are you single or dating someone right now?
Unfortunately I'm solo. Gender doesn't matter, so please find my lover.
What is your favorite Korean meal?
Samgyeopsal. Actually, I like all kinds of meat except dog meat.
What rappers do you look up to?
A rapper who can tell his own stories. Rappers who only talk about money, honor and women without are really useless.
Have you ever been drunk and woke up not knowing where you are?
Yes. I'm ashamed to say, but when I woke up, I was in my closet.

Are you working on new music?
I make it all the time. The mixtape is coming soon, and I'll be active after all.. I'm ready to succeed.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
I would have been extremely successful and grown. Maybe I'll talk about Benedict Cumberbatch and Sherlock then. I'm going to take Adam Levine and a selfie, and I'll be happy then. You can count on it.
