Dahee used to go by the name of Kim Zomi. She recently released her latest solo effort which is the best mixtape out this year and it's super duper amazing! We managed to get some time with Dahee and this is what she told us.
Who are you and where in South Korea are you from?
Hi, My name is Dahee and I'm a Rapper. And I was born in Gwangmyeong, South Korea
How did you get your rap name?
My full name is 'Dahee Kim', and the name 'Dahee' comes from my real name.
Also, a few years ago I was working (Rapping) under the name 'Zomi'.
How long have you been rapping?
It's been about 7 years since I was in High School.
Describe your style of rapping.
Honest with the feelings of the moment, and trying to communicate for
listeners to understand easily.
What inspires you to write raps?
It's the happiest moment in the world when I express myself with music and be
satisfied with the result. I want to continue till the end of my life. Never
can quit!
Are you part of a crew, if so what is the name of your crew?
A few years ago, when I was 'Zomi', I worked in a crew called 'Billinism' but
now, I quit.
What year and month were you born?
I was born on April 28, 1994.
Do you have any siblings?
I have a brother. He is 9 years older than me.
Are you single or dating someone right now?
I have a boyfriend.
What is your favorite Korean meal?
Tteokbokki <3 It's one of a popular Korean food.

Are you working on new music?
Yes, Of course, Always, and I have a plan to release a nice single album next
