Vekoel has been around for a few years now doing her thing, we had contact with her since her time in Germany when she just started out. Finally we pulled the trigger and got the interview, here goes a one on one conversation with Vekoel. 

Tell us who you are and where you are from? 

I'm VEKOEL from Daegu, South Korea.

How did you come up with your name and does have it have any meaning? 

I named my name meaninglessly, like freestyle. I purposely named it meaninglessly because I don't prefer names that are the same as other people's or companies' names, and I don't know now, but I've never seen my name anywhere when I named it. The name itself has no meaning, but the reason I named it like this is because I wanted to be a unique artist. 

Describe your style of rapping? 

It's melodical, sometimes rich, sometimes sharp, colorful oriental style. 

What inspires you to write new songs? 

I listen to a lot of different music. However, hip-hop culture is not a culture that originated in Korea, so I respect and refer to those who started and taught me hip-hop first, and I‘m always trying to find my own. So in the end I just get inspired by myself. 

What year were you born? 

1997 

I think it may or may not be. Whether it's reincarnation or not, at least I think there's definitely an unknown world that we don't know. 

What is your favorite Korean meal?

Korean cow beef (Hanwoo) & Samgyeopsal 

I know that you have traveled in Europe. What countries have you traveled to before? 

My family has been to Switzerland, Czech Republic, Austria and Italy and I was alone in Germany for 3 years.

Of course. It's not fast, but I'm always working on growth. 

Where do you see yourself in five years time? 

I will try to make sure that people can see me at many media and listen my music from almost everywhere in the world.
