Where are you from and how did you come up with your name?
I was born in Gwangju and moved to Seoul when I was young. Rim Gayoung is my real name and RIM is my last name of my real name.
You had a name change from Ato to RIM, tell us more about that.
It was simple. I named Ato only for Show Me The Money. After that I've always wanted the stage name to be with my real name.
How long have you been busy doing music?
I've never felt particularly busy. I feel the same way every day because I'm doing the same thing in the studio.
What was your experience like when you were on show me the money?
Show Me the Money taught me good things, and I was able to get to know myself better through that opportunity.
What was the highlights of your career so far?
I've had a lot of experience since Show Me the Money. But I think the
highlight is now when I make and distribute music on my own. And I
believe my life will always be the highlight.
Whats your favorite Korean meal?
Kimchi stew, white rice and rolled egg omelette.
Anybody that you are collaborating with?
Not yet. I always keep that in mind.
Whats your favorite cities that you have traveled to?
Los Angeles. Good memories.
Whats the plans for the future?
I'm going to try to put out all the tracks I made, tracks that I am making right now and it's not going to be limited to Hip-Hop/Rap.
